Jennifer Gutierrez
Professional in Political Science with 10 years of experience in monitoring the Colombian humanitarian situation, human rights, and the armed conflict, especially in qualitative research processes that require the collection of primary community and institutional information, such as human rights violations, breaches of international humanitarian law and in monitoring the impact on leaders who defend human rights, ethnic, environmental and gender rights.
I have participated in support processes for the documentation of situations of historical forced displacement and dispossession as inputs for judicial decisions in land restitution and territorial rights processes. In the last 5 years I have developed community training processes, strengthening and technical accompaniment in collective reparation issues and in the identification of measures that guarantee the non-repetition or noncontinuation of the armed conflict, cocreated with organizations, subjects of collective reparation, women, youth, victims and survivors of the armed conflict. In the same sense, I have focused my work on strengthening community capacities with a differential approach with emphasis on technological tools for information management to enhance humanitarian responses from the community.
