3iS supported the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in its design of an ecosystem-based intervention to address ecological degradation, water insecurity, and unemployment in Jordan called “Economic Growth through Climate Action”, which aimed to leverage an innovative public-private partnerships to promote climiate-regenerative green infrastructure. 3iS investigated the feasibility of establishing a mixed-species green belt ecosystem across the semi-arid region of Ma’an governorate. The overall objective was to identify key stakeholders, assess the value chain and unmet demand for medicinal plants, and provide recommendations to be used to refine the project.
