3iS conducted a multi-sectoral assessment in in Dara’a and Quneitra governorates in Syria with GIZ funding. It focused on five sectors: agriculture, water, irrigation, health, and waste management. The study assessed market access, value chains, and essential services through research, meetings, and interviews. Findings revealed high agricultural costs, water shortages, healthcare worker shortages, and poor waste management. The insights helped humanitarian actors design interventions to better strengthen local markets and services, improving access to essential goods and supporting sustainable recovery efforts.
