Tesfamariam Damte is an Information Management Officer, GIS and Remote Sensing Specialist, and Software Engineer with extensive experience in humanitarian information management, geospatial analysis, AI-driven digital solutions, and software development. He specializes in designing and implementing data management systems, GIS and remote sensing applications, database management, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and interactive dashboards that support evidence-based decision-making and humanitarian operations.
Before joining 3iS, Tesfamariam served as an Information Management Associate at iMMAP Inc., where he developed information management products, geospatial analyses, and data visualization tools for UN agencies, humanitarian clusters, international and national NGOs, and government institutions. He is committed to delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable digital solutions that improve data quality, coordination, and operational efficiency.
Tesfamariam holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics. He is fluent in English and Amharic.
