Erik is a Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Intervention from the University of Antioquia, with solid experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and Information Management (IM) processes in international cooperation projects.
He specializes in the management and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information for internal and external indicator measurements, and is well-versed in diverse reporting processes. He has led project monitoring and evaluation processes with a results-based approach, designing indicator systems, developing data visualization tools, and generating evidence for strategic decision-making in humanitarian and development contexts. He has also produced a wide range of information products using various analytical frameworks.
He has collaborated with public and private entities, as well as international cooperation organizations, supporting interventions aimed at vulnerable populations, including children and adolescents, LGBTI individuals, migrant populations, and civil society organizations. This experience has allowed him to combine a technical approach to data analysis with a deep understanding of the social and territorial dynamics in which projects operate.
In addition, he has experience in university teaching within Social Work programs, where he has supported students in developing research skills, project formulation, and context analysis from a data-driven perspective.
