Sebastian Gallego is a MEAL Specialist with a background in Political Science and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and Data Science. He has over seven years of experience conducting field data collection, site assessments, and outcome analysis in fragile and conflict-affected settings. He has designed and implemented robust MEAL data systems for humanitarian responses, utilizing digital tools such as ActivityInfo, ODK/RedRose, KoboToolbox, CommCare, and Power BI for data collection, analysis, and visualization. He has in-depth regional expertise in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and extensive on-the-ground experience in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. He has have developed information management systems for multi-donor programs and led trainings for MEAL teams in the LAC region.
