Daniela Carrasco Orellana is a Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology and a PhD in Social Sciences with a focus on Rural Studies. With extensive experience in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of humanitarian and social research projects, she has worked across Latin America supporting data-driven solutions to complex migration and development challenges. Daniela is skilled in quantitative and qualitative analysis, spatial data management using GIS, and the development of participatory methodologies.

She currently serves as a Monitoring and Reporting Specialist at 3iS, where she leads field data collection strategies and project evaluations in partnership with institutions such as Queen’s University. Her work integrates gender and differential approaches, and she has contributed to innovations like the Aurora Chatbot, which supports migrant populations in transit. Daniela brings a strong commitment to inclusive research, social policy, and the visualization of key indicators for decision-making.
