Organisation

3iS is a non-for-profit organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development organizations. Through information management, we help our partners target assistance to the world’s most vulnerable populations, and we support local authorities and institutions to enhance their capacities and become autonomous in their internal data and information management activities.

Scope of work

The AREMS (Agentic Risk & Environmental Management System) initiative is a groundbreaking project designed to transform humanitarian response and localized decision- making. By fusing formal data with community-sourced intelligence into a comprehensive knowledge graph, AREMS leverages advanced AI agents—accessible via common messaging apps—to provide non-technical users with actionable insights, risk analysis, and critical decision support.

The Designer and Communication Officer will be the principal storyteller and strategic communicator for the AREMS initiative. This pivotal role is responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive communications strategy to elevate the project’s visibility, attract strategic partnerships, and secure long-term funding.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional who blends strategic communications with hands- on content production skills, including a strong command of video editing and an aptitude for leveraging cutting-edge technology.

You will be responsible for translating the complex, powerful capabilities of AREMS into compelling narratives that resonate with donors, partners, and the public. You will manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and oversee the creation of all high-impact training and communication materials.
