Hiwa Mohammed
Senior Web & Database Developer
Hiwa is senior web & database developer at iMMAP Iraq. He is developing two platforms for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), within the framework of a GIZ-supported project. He is responsible for programming, software architecture, documentation, needs analysis and training organisation.
Hiwa has previously held several positions within iMMAP since 2017: Information Management Officer and Web Developer, Information Management Assistant, and Information Technology Assistant. Prior to joining iMMAP, he worked for as an IT consultant in Erbil, Iraq, for one year.
He holds a Master's Degree in computer science and software engineering from the Illinois institute of technology in Chicago, USA, and a Bachelor's Degree in computer science from Salahaddin University in Erbil, Iraq. Hiwa is fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
