Habtamu Gulilat
Senior Information Management Officer
Habtamu Gulilat is a senior information management officer who joined iMMAP France in February 2020.
He was previously deployed to Protection Cluster Ethiopia from February 2020 to June 2020 as Information Management Officer, then transferred to ESNFI Cluster Ethiopia with a similar position until February 2022.
Starting in March 2022, he was deployed to the HLP (Housing, Land, and Property) WG within the Protection Cluster Ethiopia as an Information Management Officer.
Before joining 3iSolution, he worked for 22 years with various government and non-government organizations in different positions as GIS and information management experts. Among these, he has served as a GIS specialist for 10 years at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Ethiopia. During his 10 years with the IRC, he was involved in various IDPs (internal displaced persons), refugees, and host community-centered humanitarian emergency projects and conducted multiple GIS, GPS, and mobile data collection tool trainings for various INGOs and local government officials under projects funded by USAID.
Given his skills and experience, Habtamu is an expert on geo-analysis and information management. He received an award certificate from ESRI for Special Achievement in GIS in 2012 as a consequence of his successful implementation of GIS techniques for humanitarian applications.
