Birhanu Kifle

Birhanu Kifle is currently working as a Junior Information Management Officer at 3iSolution Ethiopia, a position he has held since January 2024. With over 12 years of experience in Information Management, GIS, and Remote Sensing technologies, he has cultivated a robust skill set in humanitarian coordination and emergency response. Before joining 3iSolution, Birhanu worked as an Information Management Associate for iMMAP Inc. and was deployed to the UNHCR as an Information Management Officer for the Protection Cluster in the Amhara region. His previous roles include working with the IOM as an Information Management and GIS Assistant for the CCCM cluster in Dire Dawa, as well as serving as a Geospatial Information Analyst at the Information Network Security Agency in Addis Ababa.

Birhanu holds a Master’s degree in GIS and Remote Sensing and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, both obtained from Dire Dawa University in Ethiopia. He is proficient in English and Amharic, enhancing his ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments. His extensive background equips him with the expertise necessary to support information management initiatives across various humanitarian contexts, demonstrating his commitment to leveraging technology for effective data management and analysis.
