Haile is a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL) professional with over five years of experience in both humanitarian and development contexts.

Most recently, he served as the Regional LME Officer for the USAID-Empowered Communities Activity at Project HOPE, where he managed and monitored the activities of Local Implementing Partners. Previously, he worked at FHI360 as a MEAL expert, overseeing health, nutrition, WASH, and protection programs. In this role, he was responsible for the end-to-end implementation of MEAL systems, ensuring alignment with program goals and donor requirements.

His earlier experiences include roles as Regional Assistance Information and Reporting Officer at World Vision International, Monitoring Assistant with the UN World Food Programme, and Data Analyst at the Central Statistics Agency. These roles have equipped him with deep knowledge in MEAL frameworks, data management, quality assurance, visualization, needs assessments, capacity building, and program impact evaluations.

He holds Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mekelle University and a Master’s degree in Project Management.
