This infographic visualizes the response to humanitarian emergencies resulting from armed conflict and natural disasters for the year 2024, according to reports made in the Emergency Response Tracker (ERT) by the Magdalena Medio Humanitarian Team. Emergencies (mass displacement and confinement) that required a complementary response from the EHMM occurred in five municipalities: Arenal, Morales, Norosí, Montecristo, and Cantagallo.

The EHMM’s capacity to respond and identify cross-sector humanitarian impacts and needs has been limited by the low presence of partners in the territory. It is possible that other mass emergencies may have required additional attention.
