With over fifteen years of experience leading administrative operations in international organizations across Ethiopia, Solomon has been instrumental in ensuring effective delivery of development and humanitarian programs in complex and challenging environments.

Throughout Solomon’s career with INGOs such as LWF, VSO, ChildFund, and iMMAP, he has successfully managed human resources processes, logistics operations, and security frameworks, contributing to seamless program execution. His deep understanding of Ethiopia’s operational landscape—including compliance with local legal frameworks and adherence to safety and security protocols—has been key in mitigating risks and ensuring the safe implementation of programs. These experiences have refined his ability to balance strategic planning with daily problem solving, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Beyond his practical expertise, his academic background further strengthens his capabilities. He holds a university degree in Management and Public Administration as well as a postgraduate diploma in Insurance Management. In addition, he has earned professional certifications including Security Risk Management Professional (SRMP) and Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), further equipping him to navigate the multifaceted challenges of administrative, security, and operational leadership.
